Latest Indonesia Tsunami; A Thought to Ponder
Indonesia, as it is lying in the seismically active "Pacific Ring of Fire," a series of fault lines stretching from the Western Hemisphere through Japan and Southeast Asia, usually encounters earthquake which could trigger tsunami.
Indonesia had been hugging the headlines few years back, and now again, the headlines are all about the tragedy that had just struck the place. Hundreds are missing, fatalities are rising and the number of injured nationals and tourists is increasing.
For us who are not from Indonesia could only watch the tragedy through all the social networks and the broadcast media and be one with them in prayers for the rescue of those who are struggling for one's dear life and those who lost their relatives and friends.
Calamaties and/or catastrophes such us this can still result to something positive. It is on these times that humans are moved to helping other people. It is on these times that you would see people, from all walks of life, rich or poor, try to contribute something to alleviate the lives of those who are severely affected. Those who has the means extend financial support, while those with almost none, just share the most valuable thing of all - Prayers.
For those who are affected, who lost a family or friend, it is most important to think that these things happen for a reason. As such, painful as it is, we just have to accept the loss and leave it up to the Creator. But this does not mean that we are left with no recourse. Other calamities are triggered by man's abuse to nature.
This we can do something. From the simplest act of recycling our garbage, we are actually contributing for the preservation of our one and only place to live in - EARTH. With each one doing such, it would result to a tremendous change for the betterment of mankind.
IT IS TIME TO DO OUR PART.

Life after the Bar Exam; A seemingly relax life...
A year ago, my best friend Connie urged me to have this blog. It was a welcome respite. However my schedule didn't allow. I was wallowing much with my law books. We were on our fourth year in law school then.
After graduation, we were into a more tedious schedule and routine - the Bar Review and unto the Bar Exams last September 2010.
After the grueling six months review and bar exam, I own my time now. Of course work is there, but after work, life is simple... time for my son and hubby. Relax so to say. Hence, blog time. Expect more posts from me, about Life, Love and law maybe.
